Kids, come dressed in your spookiest, cutest, or most “spaced out” costumes and participate in our Cosmic Costume Contest. Win fabulous prizes and eternal bragging rights for the best-dressed deep sky explorer! No costume yet? No problem! We would love to have you visit all the same! More info to come.

A Trick-or-Treat Celestial Trail!

Follow the twinkling lights on our Trick-or-Treat Celestial Trail for a cosmic candy adventure. Explore the observatory grounds and collect treats while surrounded by the enchanting atmosphere of the night sky.

Note: Night sky observing is dependent on local weather conditions.

  • This is a FREE event, but donations are very much appreciated ($5 per visitor is suggested)
  • No Registration
  • Open to Everyone
  • Arrive Anytime Between the Times Given
  • Stay for the Entire Event or As Long As You Want
  • No Park Permit Required
