  • Reserve for Cub Scout Pack overnight

    Scout troop will start arriving at 3pm for set-up and solar viewing, programming and then night viewing. Troop will provide supper. Fire pit will be available for use. Troop will stay overnight in multipurpose building or tents on facility grounds. Contact person is T Thompson.

  • Fredstrom Elementary STEM Night

    Volunteers need to arrive at 5:15 for set up, enter in the main door. Fredstrom Elementary is located at 5700 NW 10th Street in Lincoln. Visitors will enjoy a variety of activities including space crafts and holding a real rock from outer space, Mike the Meteorite.

    Kids ages 3 to 8, to enjoy stories of earth and space followed by craft time, kids will be able to take home their craft when finished. Kids attending will be free of charge. General admission otherwise is $5 each person.

    Lunar eclipse- total(begins at 2:44 am, maximum at 5:33 am, ends at 7 am. BOO is not staffed for this event. Guests may come view at our field, but buildings will not be open.
