Capturing Starlight – Introduction to Astrophotography

A Southeast Community College Continuing Education Course at Branched Oak Observatory

Join Professor Sibbernsen, Co-Founder of Branched Oak Observatory, on an exploration of the methods for photographing the wonders of the night sky. From widefield and lunar/planetary photography to the imaging of deep-space wonders, you will learn about the equipment and techniques needed to start your journey down this incredible hobby. No special equipment is needed to join the class, but you are encouraged to bring your own mobile phone and a DSLR if available. *Actual nighttime astrophotography will be weather permitting.
