Pack 71 and some family members will be visiting Branched Oak Observatory for programming, observing, and spending the night.

[The pack will let us know by February. 14th the total number.]

General astronomy programming only (no Astronomy Badge program). Michael will provide a Welcome program and Winter Sky program.

Star gazing if clear. Planisphere activity if cloudy. They will also bring games.

Note. They will be eating dinner and spending the night at the observatory in the multipurpose center.

The scouts are planning to start their activities at 3 p.m. and will be ready for indoor astronomy programming at 7 pm and going outside around 8 p.m. The group will likely be gone by 9 Sunday morning.
