The Prairie Astronomy Club is pleased to welcome lecturer Michael Sibbernsen to present at the March Meeting. Because of the potential popularity of the program, PAC will be holding this meeting and presentation at Branched Oak Observatory in the Kunkel Family Multipurpose Center. The meeting and presentation is OPEN to the general public at no charge.

About the Program…

On April 8th, we will experience the last Total Solar Eclipse in the United States until the year 2044. In this program, lecturer Michael Sibbernsen will take the audience on a journey of discovery, exploring the importance and rarity of this phenomenon as well as some of the scientific experiments taking place during the eclipse. All participants will receive a FREE pair of Solar Eclipse Glasses.

The presentation is suitable for all ages.
