About the Program…
On March 18th, we will experience the last Total Solar Eclipse in the United States until the year 2044. In this program, lecturer Michael Sibbernsen will take the students and faculty on a journey of discovery, exploring the importance and rarity of this phenomenon as well as some of the scientific experiments taking place during the eclipse. All participants will receive a FREE pair of Solar Eclipse Glasses. After the lecture, selected classes will head outside for SAFE solar viewing outside for everyone.
The presentation is suitable for all ages.

Note to Michael: Besides lecture materials, FULL Audio and Video equipment needs to be packed and taken for this program. In addition, White Light and H-Alpha Telescopes need to be packed and taken. Arrive at 9:15-9:30 to set-up. Presentation at 10:00AM.
