SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT!!  Because of the weather forecast for this weekend, we are going to shift the hours a bit for our special 4th of July Event.  We will now OPEN *EARLY*, Saturday between 1-5pm, for Solar Viewing, field activities, and indoor programming.  We will then open again Saturday night 7pm and remain open until when/if it starts raining.  IF it clears , we will have an evening observing until 11pm.

No fireworks. An enjoyable and quieter alternative for you, your family and your leashed pets. Enjoy the summer evening underneath the starry skies and see natures fireworks like galaxies and nebulae and *maybe* a shooting star or two. Bring your own food for a picnic (no grills).

Yard games, space crafts, chalk art, safe solar viewing and top it off with a tour of the night sky. Holiday special, no admission fee (a free-will donation is very appreciated). 4-legged friends are welcome! 1-5pm
